Gregg Endorses Kay Fleming for Attorney General
INDIANAPOLIS- On Tuesday Indiana gubernatorial candidate John Gregg endorsed Kay Fleming for Attorney General of Indiana. Speaking at Fleming's law firm in Indianapolis, Gregg said, "We have talked a lot these past few weeks about workhorses versus show horses, and I don't think we could have found a better workhorse to be our state's attorney than Kay."
Fleming worked her way through college, and is now a partner in Fleming Stage, LLC, a law firm which she founded and that is certified as a Women's Business Enterprise. She is passionate about women's and children's issues, and serves as president of the Kaleidoscope Youth Center, which serves underprivileged children.
Gregg and Fleming both said that reforming the Department of Child Services would be one of the key goals of their administrations. "We need to get law enforcement officers, educators, and child advocates together at a table and get this done. We cannot allow one more child to die or face harm at the hands of those who were supposed to protect them. I know Kay is the right person for that job," said Gregg.
Fleming lives in Indianapolis.
